School Visit and Comic Jam!

UofTschool1Last Thursday I was invited down to the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study School to draw comics with the grade 3 class. When I got there I found out that they had already been working on their own graphic novel stories. So it wasn’t surprising that they did some pretty amazing stuff! (see photo above)

UofTschool2It’s always great, no matter what age you are, to sit around a table laughing and drawing goofy doodles. Many thanks to the students and staff for making the afternoon so much fun. Hopefully we can have another afternoon comic jam in the near future!
